He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Wegner and Mildred Wegner (Kasten); and his nephew Troy Wegner. He is survived by: his son Nathan Wegner (Marie); his grandson Jonathan Wegner; his siblings, Roger Wegner (Joan), Don Wegner (Laurie) and Sandi Zirbel (Mike); his nieces and nephews, Jenny Margelofsky (Pat), Kari Falck (Jeremiah), Kelli Hawkins, Jay Wegner (Andrea), Sara Stewart (Josh), Bo Wegner (Jen), Maleah Merline, Chelea Scheider (Kris), Jordan Zirbel (Alyssa) and Noah Zirbel (Linsey); and the mother of his child Kay Wegner. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Randy's honor can be made to St. John's Lutheran Church and School.
