He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Cornils and Marcella Cornils (Weir); his siblings, Gladys Witek (Victor), Paul Cornils, Marlene Bessler (Ed) and John Cornils; his parents-in-law, George and Dorothy Nicholson; and his pet Einstein.
He is survived by: his wife Ramona Cornils; his children, Jerry Cornils (Rhonda) and Jennifer Welnicke (Keith); his grandchildren, Ashley, Dillon Welnicke, Samuel and Ella Cornils; his siblings, Mary Jane Pond, JoAnn Henry (Dale), Karen Teesch (Larry), Barbara Gallas (Wayne), Constance McNellis (John) and Rick Cornils (Roxanne); and his siblings-in-law, Irene Cornils, Robert Nicholson (Linda), Jon Nicholson (Lisa) and Polly Carter.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center (620 N Water St, Manitowoc, WI 54220). The military honors will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
