He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arne Heino and Lillian Heino (Stenlund); his brother Jerry; and his nieces and nephews, Christopher Heino (Cheryl), April Habas (John), Jill Lee (Brian) and Eric Heino (Misty). He was also cherished by 12 great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Moland Lutheran Church.
