He is survived by: his wife Cindy Braatz of Marathon; his daughter Ericka Braatz-Kretschmann (Kyle Kretschmann) of Evansville, WI; his grandchildren, Felix and Lucy; his siblings, Janelle'Janie' Braatz (Thomas Bogren) of Rothschild, Carlene Braatz (David Daniels) of Rhinelander, Joel Braatz (Cassie McLain) of Merrill, Lowell Braatz (Maureen) of Wausau and Laurel Braatz (Timothy Feist) of Sturgeon Bay; his brother-in-law Don Schult (Kathy) of Wausau; and his nieces and nephews, Donald Schult Jr.'DJ' (Sara) of Merrill, John Schult (Carla) of Wausau, Sam Braatz of Mosinee, Hannah Braatz of St. Paul, MN and Kelsey Daniels of Savage, MN..
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
