He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhart Stahel and Viola Stahel (Langhoff); his wife Jean Ione Tesch; his grandson Beau Mucha; his siblings, Lydia Werner, Selma Evers, Leona Teske, Esther Mohr and Norman Stahel; and his siblings-in-law, Alvin Werner, William Evers, Joseph Mohr, Gary Hermans, Walter Baneck, Clair Stahel and Jeanette Stahel.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald Stahel (Carrie Salyers), Roxanne Kaiser (Chuck) of Marathon, Robin Bloom (Steven) of Marathon and Renee Mucha (Paul) of Marathon; his grandchildren, Jason Stahel (Angela), Jamie Weiler (Chris Ziegel), Jeremy Stahel (Pam), Kurt Behnke (Pam), Derek Behnke (Heather), Andrew Bloom (Kelly), Amy Cruz (Julio), Luke Mucha (Alanie) and Skye Mucha; his stepgrandchildren, Cody Salyers (Montana) and Samantha Salyers; his great grandchildren, Shynia, Cheyanne, Dakota Stahel, Cody (Ryleigh Dahlke), Caylee Weiler, Carlie, Kyson, Keiarra, Kale Stahel, Marcos, Andres Cruz, Avery Bloom, Ali Behnke and Levi Mucha; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Thea, Cora Salyers, Haley and Rayme Burns; his siblings, Melvin Stahel, Lois Hermans and Verna Baneck; his brother-in-law Ray Teske; and his close friend Carol Uekert.
Current social distancing and masking guidelines will be practiced.
