He was predeceased by: his parent Sieng Phakitthong; his sister Bouasone Phromprakay; his father-in-law Wilbur Otto; and his grandparents, John, Faith Marik, Dan and Ruth Stanford.
He is survived by: his family, Calvin and Roberta Stanford; his brother Joe; his wife Rachelle Otto; his daughters, Ally, Chentaly, Ashley and Chenpieng; his adoptive parents, Calvin Stanford and Roberta Stanford; his siblings, Joseph Stanford (Karrie), Janel Scott (Landon), Mandi Stanford, Mike Stanford (Heather), Bouahieng Thammavongsa, Leck Phakitthong and Saeng Phakitthong; his mother-in-law Charlotte Otto; his sisters-in-law, Marsha Otto, Marla Berg (Tom) and Renee Steffen (Pat); and also Khamby. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and plants, a memorial will be established in Khamby's name.
