He was predeceased by: his parents, James O'Malley and Marie O'Malley (Buchberger); his wife Kathryn "Katie" Marcell; and his grandson Patrick Ruplinger. He is survived by: his children, Mary Ruplinger (Gordon), Daniel O'Malley (Mary), Peggy Root (David), Colleen Westphal (Keith) of Marquette, MI, John O'Malley (Nelly) and Michael O'Malley (Christine). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren.
