With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Paul Kowalski (Marathon, Wisconsin), born in Appleton, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 15, 2022 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Daniel Kowalski; and his father-in-law Edward Martyn. He is survived by: his mother Geraldine Kowalski (Chojnacki) of Wausau, WI; his wife Nancy Martyn; his sons, Justin Kowalski of Carbondale, IL and Jordan Kowalski of Miami, FL; his siblings, Kathy Whalen (Bill) of Crivitz, WI and Dale Kowalski (Judy) of Wonder Lake, IL; his mother-in-law Sandra Martyn of Athens, WI; and his siblings-in-law, Mark Martyn (Cathy) of Athens, WI and Mary Martyn of Colby, WI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family requests that face masks be worn during the visitation and funeral services.
In lieu of flowers, John had many organizations that he supported. Memorial donations will be determined by the family and put to good use in John's name.
