He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Bergs and Theresa Bergs (Golla); his siblings, Judy Masanz, Richard and Ronald; his nephew Neil Masanz; and his brother-in-law Allen Masanz.
He is survived by: his wife Margo Bergs; his siblings-in-law, Vicki Cherek (Mike) and Marlo Krueger (Lynn); and his nieces and nephews, Randy Masanz (Anna Prelipp), Mark Bergs (Julie), Mara Bushee (Larry), Vanessa, Ava Krueger, Marissa Wenig (Andy) and Olivia.
