Ila touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mathias Vetter and Helen Vetter; her husband Norbert Normand Sr. of Mary's Catholic Church; her son Steven Normand; and her siblings, Lou Anne Seliger, Richard Vetter and Bruce Vetter.
She is survived by: her children, Norbert Normand Jr. (Donna Mae) of Wausau, David Normand of Marathon, Beth Writz of Marathon, Matt Normand (Mary) of Marathon, Renee Thomsen (Allen) of Marathon, Jon Normand (Tammy) of Edgar and Sheri Howard (John Norton) of Edgar; her daughter-in-law Christine Normand of Marathon; her grandchildren, Bradley, Diana, Scott, Ashley, David, Angela, Katelyn, Cassandra, Brittany, Nicholas, Mathew, Nathan, Timothy, Kessa, Jesse, Emma, Tommy, Aimee and Grant; her great grandchildren, David, Layla, Zane, Olivia, Steven, Theodore and Quinn; her sister Alice Wagner of Wausau; her sisters-in-law, Anne Marie Kleinschmidt of Newark and Delaine Vetter of Stratford; and her friend Corey Rusch. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (712 Market St, Marathon City, WI 54448). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
