Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Elaine Peterson of Marathon, Wisconsin, who passed away at the age of 89, on November 4, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Buchberger and Mary Buchberger (Volhard); her husband Red Peterson; her grandson Cameron Abell; and her sister Jean Luedtke.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Kijak, Linda Reisner (Richard), Karen Sprowles (Michael), Greg Peterson (Kathy) and David Peterson (Renee) of Wausau; her grandchildren, Jessica Ellis (Kevin), Carolynn Martin (Chris), Nicole Myszka (Wesley), Amanda Lowery (Steve), Jon Reisner, Rachel Kijak, Karie Koppa (Jeremy), Mike Reisner (Amanda), Nick Peterson (Jasmine), Rebecca Wells (Aaron), Erik Kijak (Katie), Nathan Peterson (Brianna), Ali Peterson and Marcus Peterson; and her siblings, Claude Buchberger (Marge), Pat Buchberger (Bonnie), Edward Buchberger Jr. (Roseanne) and Diane Hoblitzell of Milwaukee. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
Social distancing guidelines will be observed as well as face masks required by all who attend.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Elaine's name.
