He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Szitta and Caroline Szitta (Wildman); his parent-in-law Reinhart Knaak (Dorothy); and his brother-in-law Alan Draeger. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Szitta of Marathon; his son Timothy Szitta of Madison; his siblings, Gail Hable (Pete) of Ringle, Barbara Szitta of Wausau and Dennis Knaak (Pat) of Birnamwood; and his sister-in-law Judy Draeger of Wausau. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
