He is survived by: his wife Nancy Schuster; his children, Davey Matis (Krista), Paul Matis (Lisa), Christy Blenker, Lisa Rennie and Cathy Jo Matis; his grandchildren, Ashley, Corrina, Andrew, Brett, Joe, Sam, Alisha and Haley; his great grandchildren, Easton, Evelyn and Athena; and his siblings, Pete Matis and Marlene Spiegel.
