He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ballmann and Lillian Fischer Ballmann; his daughter Susan Marie Ballmann; and his sisters, Shirley Eucke and LaVerne Weber.
He is survived by: his wife Carol M. Hoffman; his children, Lori Schubring (Brian), Daniel Ballmann of San Diego, CA and Dean Ballmann (Rebecca); and his grandchildren, Kyle Shady (Brittany), Jesse Shady (Kyra), William (Pearce Ballmann), Rachel Schubring (Jackson Bryant), Adam Schubring U. S. (Ali) and Navy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
