He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Mott and Florence Mott (Dehne); his father-in-law Norman Anderson; and his brothers-in-law, Gene Voss and Merle Diefenthaler.

He is survived by: his former wife Pamela Anderson; his wife Pam; his daughter Penni Nechodomu (Joe); his grandchildren, Nicole Nechodomu (Travis Pompa), Sherwood and Alex Nechodomu (Elizabeth); his son Brian Mott; his stepsons, Dennis Vogel, Jr. (Kari) and La Crosse; his stepgrandchildren, Jack, Stella and Reed; his stepson Aaron Vogel (Alaina); his stepgrandchildren, Jordan, Logan and Alyssa; his sisters, Donna Voss, Bonnie Diefenthaler and LaRae Carpenter (Dennis) of Osakis, MN; his mother-in-law Janet Anderson; and his siblings-in-law, Alvin Anderson (Julie), Christopher Anderson, Thomas Anderson (Jane), Teresa Sisel (John) and Veronica Kihl (Mike). He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many good friends.
