We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2021, at the age of 85, Shirley Litherland of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, born in South Chicago Heights, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Malek and Mary Malek (Bennett); her husband Major Harry Litherland; her sister Delores Hede; and her siblings-in-law, Elenora Litherland, David Carrizales and Martin Venn.
She is survived by: her children, Julie McDowell (Tom), Cathy Himes (Mike), Mark Litherland and Emilee Litherland (Timothy Litherland); her grandchildren, Katie, Austin (Rebeka), Damon Himes, Erin Hudgens (Mike), Elizabeth Chapin (Spencer), Emilee Jacque (Jonathan), Eden Ray (Timothy) and Grace Barrymore (Litherland); her great grandchildren, Imogen Chapin, Harlow Chapin and Penelope Himes; her sister Gloria Carrizales; and also, Donna Litherland and Merry Venn (Martin). She is also survived by Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Shirley's name.
