He was predeceased by: his parents, Zeno Monka and Irene Monka (Wisneski); his former wife Mary Ann Marx; his brothers, Ken Monka and Richard Monka; and his great grandchild Malachi Moore.
He is survived by: his spouse Gail Kolar; his son Wayne Monka (Andrea) of Manitowoc; his grandchildren, Tony, Alycia and Austin; his son Craig Monka of The Colony, Texas; his grandchildren, Nicole and Jakob; his daughters, Holly Monka of Tucson, Arizona and Gina Monka of Manitowoc; his siblings, John Monka (Dianne) of Manitowoc, Rosemary Heideman (Lee) of Two Rivers and Mary Jo Haban of Two Rivers; his sister-in-law Phyllis Monka of Merrill; and his stepchildren, Russ, Cory, Pat, Dave, Jeff and Greg. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Gumby's Club Fore A Cure, Manitowoc, or Pink Heals of Manitowoc County.
