He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Kortens and Gladys Kortens; his wife Sandy of Anne's Catholic Church; and his siblings, Mary Sotos and Dan Kortens (Donna).
He is survived by: his children, Jacob Kortens (Kim), Jena Foster (David), Joshua Kortens (Emily) and Jed Kortens (Imelda) of San Jose, CA; his grandchildren, Grace, Emily, Logan, Max, Hudson, Jackson, Maryjane and Jessica; and his sisters, Cathy Liddel (late Loran) and Janet Grochowski (Dick). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
