We bid farewell to Robert John Braun (Manitowoc, Wisconsin), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 10, 2024 at the age of 98. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Braun and Florence Brady Braun; his wife Carolyn "Carlie" Malin Braun; and his siblings, James Braun, Mark Braun, Hugh Braun and Sister Jeanne Marie Braun.
He is survived by: his former wife Gwen Braun; his children, Paul J. Braun (Dana) of Manitowoc, Julie Winski (Frank) of Atlanta, GA, Amy Gold (Joe) of Darien, CT, Grace Manning (Paul) of Chicago, IL and Mara Kormylo (Craig) of Evergreen, CO.; and his grandchildren, Benjamin Braun (Ariel Zebro), Carly Ann Braun (Jake Marshall), Madeline Braun, Jack Winski, Brady Winski, Liam Winski, Drew Gold (Katie Hirthler), Spencer Gold (Zaynah Moen), Lucy Manning, RJ Manning, Katie Manning, Macy Kormylo and Reese Kormylo.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi (1121 N 14th St, Manitowoc, WI 54220).
