He was predeceased by : his wife Joanne Rexrode; his brother Kennie Rexrode, Jr.; and his sister-in-law Jeanne Rexrode. He is survived by : his children, Rick (Richard Jr.), Rob, and Kate; his grandchildren: Alex, Andrew, Nick, Ben and Margot; and his great grand children: Theo, Will and Kathleen. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Dolores Gasiorowski of Milwaukee, WI, many nieces and nephews, and many special friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Richard's name to St. Vincent de Paul, 911 Chicago St, Manitowoc, WI 54220, or Rawhide Boys Ranch, E7475 Rawhide Rd, New London, WI 54961.
