He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhardt Sr. Gaedtke and Adeline Gaedtke Sr. (Jahnke); his siblings, Jerome, Roman Gaedtke and Geraldine Behnke (Harold); his siblings-in-law, Carol Gaedtke, Caroline Gaedtke and Glenn Gates; his parents-in-law, Gottleib and Leona Zeller; and his siblings-in-law, Herbert Zeller (Janetta) and Elaine Boehnlein (Jack).
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Ann Zeller of Reedsville; his children, Ross Gaedtke (Nancy), Reed Gaedtke (Tracy), Shawn Bergene (Jason) and Ryan Gaedtke (Tammy); his grandchildren, Kaden Gaedtke, Bowen, Rayahna Gaedtke, Shayla, Annaleise, Zane Bergene, Devon, Isaiah and Elijah Gaedtke; his siblings, Harley, Herman, Rahlan (Mary Jane), Reggie Gaedtke (Phyllis) and Maxine Gates; his sisters-in-law, Shirley Gaedtke and Ardella Gaedtke; and also Shirley Ann Gaedtke (Zeller). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials in Reiny's name to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran School.
