He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalton Jaeger and Delores Jaeger (Schroeder); his son-in-law Eric McLean; his grandson Lucas Severson; and his parents-in-law, Donald Helgeson and Della Helgeson-Berkedel (Kenneth).
He is survived by: his wife Karin Helgeson; his daughters, Cari Jaeger (Casey Severson), Christy Miller (Daniel) and Dayna Shavlik (Adam); his grandchildren, Owen Miller, Natalie Miller and Brooks Shavlik; his siblings, Mark Jaeger (Terese) and Debra DeWitt (Paul); and his sisters-in-law, Connie Check (Bill) and Kathy Kinzel (Rick). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can me made to First Lutheran Church, Woodside Senior Communities, or the Salvation Army of Manitowoc County in Mick's memory.
