She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman A. Strauss and June B. Strauss (Reilly); her daughter Baby Girl McWhorter; her siblings, Jack Strauss, Gerald Strauss and Patricia Leary (Walter); her brother-in-law Ronald Zahn; and her nieces, Terese Abbott and Deborah Zima.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherry L. Litersky; her significant other Joe Pierucki of Iron River, MI; the father of her children William Zortman; her grandchildren, Miranda Bauer, Logan Bauer, Emory Zortman, James Zortman and Iliza Zortman; her sisters-in-law, Bonnie Strauss and June Strauss; her niece Laurie Ludke (R. C.); and also, Richard Strauss (Nancy), Sandra Zahn-Kleppe (Terry Kleppe), Gordy Strauss (Charlene), Randy Strauss (Shelley), Carol McDonell (Peter) and Gary Strauss. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
