He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Olson and Gertrude Olson (Kuehne); his brother Eugene; his sister-in-law Grace Olson; and his parents-in-law, Eleanor Swetlik (Braun), Byron Swetlik, Barbara Swetlik, Leroy Swetlik, Quirin H. "Junior" Swetlik, Ronald Staudinger, William "Bud" Antholz and Susan Swetlik.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Swetlik; his son Charles Olson (Wanda) of King George, VA; his grandsons, Philip and Daniel Olson; his children, Connie Foltz (Donald), Matthew, Ryan Taylor, Carol Albright (Thomas), Jenna Ingrisch (Charles) and Craig Olson (Jennifer); his grandson John Olson; his nephew Steven Olson (Karen); his niece Elisabeth Tienor (Daniel); and his parents-in-law, Beatrice Antholz, Florence Frederick (Kenneth) of East Dundee, IL, Janice Wanek of Manitowoc, Nancy Staudinger of Manitowoc, Allan Swetlik of Manitowoc, Dale Swetlik (Lynn) of Manitowoc, Sharon Swetlik of Manitowoc and Janice Swetlik of Manitowoc. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Leroy's name be given to the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin (P.O. Box 1997, Milwaukee, WI 53201).
