He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Galien and Sophia Galien; and his wife Betty. He is survived by: his children, Laurel "Lori" Lorenz (Mark), Gail Rockwell (Will), Jay Galien and Jesse Galien (Judy); his grandchildren, Andrea Sippel (Chris), Corey Rockwell and Samantha Rockwell; his stepgrandchildren, Troy Heideman, Todd Heideman and Kimberly Langolf; and his sister-in-law Jeanette Van Engen (Richard). He is also survived by three great grandchildren and four step great grandchildren.
