Larry Sonnenburg Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Sonnenburg of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, born in Newton, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 7, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin William Sonnenburg and Lorena Lola Sonnenburg (Nauth); and his siblings-in-law, Paula Sonnenburg, Gregg Church and Gene Temme.
He is survived by: his wife Caroline Schuette; his children, Kevin (Kay Sonnenburg), Kay (Cliff Konik), Kurt (Sharry Sonnenburg) and Kristy (Bob Krueger); his grandchildren, Crystal Konik (Al Fleisner), Melissa, Jerad Grupe, Brittany, Ben Bockelman, Bradley, Whitney Sonnenburg, Emily Sonnenburg, Jeremy, Karley Sonnenburg, Jon, Marie Fossell, Sadie Sonnenburg, Pedro Sonnenburg, Benjamin, Alyssa Sonnenburg, Shawna, Larry Warren, Sarah Krueger and Sharon Krueger; his stepgranddaughter Giselle Conde; his great grandchildren, Ayden Fleisner, Alaina Fleisner, Karsten Grupe, Marshal Grupe, Joslynn Grupe, Harper Bockelman, Everly Bockelman, Evelyn Sonnenburg, Ernest Sonnenburg, Carter Sonnenburg, Ezra Fossell, Amaris Ayala and Jackson Warren; his brother Glen Sonnenburg; and his siblings-in-law, Donald, Myra Schuette, Virginia Temme (Richard Young), Dennis, Sandy Schuette and Janice Church (Bill Wigton). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Salem Ebenezer Reformed Church (6524 County Rd C, Manitowoc, WI 54220). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM at the Salem Ebenezer Reformed Church Cemetery (6524 County Rd C, Manitowoc, WI 54220).
