He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Schisel and Helen Schisel (Augustine); his son Jim Schisel; his siblings, Bob Schisel, Melvin Schisel and Janet Becker; and his siblings-in-law, Skip Koerth, Darrell Fischer, Donald Becker, Kathy Bandt, Bonnie Torsch, Lyndoris Schisel and JoAnn Schisel.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy of Paul's Catholic Church; his children, Debbie Saduske (Jeff), Dan Schisel (Tammy) and Joe Schisel (Mandy); and his siblings-in-law, Vickie Krahn (Jeff), Carol Koerth, Terrie Fischer, Gary Torsch and Larry Koerth (Annika). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
