He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Benfield and Inez Buell Benfield (Debora); and his wife Debora H. Volz. He is survived by: his children, Ranada (Michael), Julie Ann Melini (Louis), Salt, Elizabeth Reinke (Robert), Green Bay and Paul Benfield (Melissa); his sister Donna Lindholm; and his close friend Shirley Dill. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorials in Ken's name to Salem Ebenezer Reformed Church.
