As Joyce departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joyce may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joyce leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Wilhelm and Sally Wilhelm (Beck); her brother Eddie Wilhelm; and her former husband Timothy Deeley. She is survived by: her daughter Denise Blashka (Tom); her grandchildren, Samantha Deeley-Burke (Patrick) and Jack Blashka (Carmela); her great grandchild Ireland Burke; and her sister Darlene Schroeder (Bob).
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home (628 N Water St, Manitowoc, WI 54220). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations made in Joyce's name to the Lakeshore Humane Society to go toward the care of the many cats looking for homes.
