He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Powalish and Othelia Powalish (Matysik); and his brothers-in-law, Frank Koppa, Daniel Koppa and Frank Pupka.
He is survived by: his close friend Lynn Wagner; his sisters, Mary Jane Koppa, Joan Koppa and Doris Pupka; and also Jason Burnett Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
