She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim "Fuzz" LaVarnway and Faye LaVarnway; and her aunts and uncles, Sister Loretta Jean Hanson, Belva Hanson, Colleen Schmidt (John), Robert Hanson (Pat) and Tom Hinz.
She is survived by: her husband Bob Bonin; her children, Ashley Stroik (Dan), Kyle Bonin (Nicole) and Samantha Van Steenburgh (Austin); her grandchildren, Easton, Turner Bonin, Wesley and Zander Van Steenburgh; her brother James "Jimmy" LaVarnway Jr.; her aunts, Jean Hinz and Sharon Toth (Richard); her sisters-in-law, Jean Kitzerow (Wally), Mary Hoffman (Glenn) and Vickie Peaslee (Rob); and her nephews, Tom Kitzerow, Bill Kitzerow, Ryan Hoffman (Stacy), Jason Hoffman (Emily) and Andrew Hoffman. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made in honor of Janet to the Gumby's Club for a Cure Foundation in Manitowoc.
