He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis P LaPLante Sr. and Leona G LaPLante (Peck); his brothers, Francis LaPLante Jr. (Frank) and Robert LaPLante (Bob); and his niece Linn Coutermarsh (LaPLante).
He is survived by: his wife Judith LaPLante (Judy); his stepdaughter Lora Jerabek Meissner; his grandchildren, Devin, Hailey and Addison; his sister Bonnie (LaPLante); and also Peyton of Manitowoc. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
