He is survived by: his wife Janet Shimek (Northeim); his daughters, Cindy Shimek Vogel (Dennis) of Manitowoc and Lisa Shimek Hietpas (Dale) of Manitowoc; his grandchildren, Heather Vogel, Madison and Bridget Hietpas (Brian Lane); his stepgrandsons, Dennis Vogel Jr. (Kari) and Aaron Vogel (Alaina); his great grandchild Brycen Hietpas; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Jack, Stella, Reed Vogel, Jordan, Logan and Allyssa Vogel; his brothers, Virgil Shimek, Paul Shimek, Jerome Shimek (Mary), William Shimek and Ronald Shimek; his sisters-in-law, Janet Pribek and Shirley Barnes; and his nieces, Christi Hall (Russ) and Kelly Pratcher (Ron). He is also survived by Other nieces, nephews, relatives, friends.
