She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Benhart and Beatrice Benhart (Hand); her sons, Roland Arms and Ralph Arms; and her stepson Tommy Alexander.
She is survived by: her children, Hilda Brisco, Virginia Gregory (Steven), Ruby Gunderson (Jack), Roy Alexander (Angela), Leslie Alexander (Debbie), Mark DeGroot and Terry Alexander (Cheryl); her daughter-in-law Margaret Arms; and her siblings, Lorraine Mezra of Boscabel, Ila Swanson of Boscabel, Henry Benhart of Iowa and George Benhart (Kaye) of Mississippi. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
She made blankets for many of the children in the family as well as donating to the homeless shelters.
