He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin J. and Rose Dassey, Sr. (Cisler); and his sisters, Shirley and Lorraine Czechanski (Alvin). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Dassey; his daughter Kim Steeno (Steve); his grandson Tyler Dassey (Rachel); his sister-in-law Bonnie Bauer III (Richard); and his close friend Emma. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in an effort to keep everyone safe, the family requests that everyone please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
