She was predeceased by: her parents, Erving Zeddies and Lydia Zeddies (Weyhausen); her husband John Alan Nelson; her sister Carol Monka (Charles); and her siblings-in-law, Donald Janda and Betty Stephani (Robert).
She is survived by: her children, Laura Kempfert (Dennis) of Sun Prairie, Kathleen Bernardo (Lee) of Ashland and Michael Nelson of Manitowoc; her grandchildren, Mark Kempfert, Rebecca Balczewski (Casey), Cody Bernardo (Jaime), Rachel Landowski (Joseph) and Casey Bernardo (Bleu); her great grandchildren, Elias Landowski, Daphne Bernardo, Cooper Bernardo, Jace Balczewski and Mason Balczewski; and her sisters, LaVerne Mueller (William) and Dolores Janda. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
