It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Augusta Schmitz (Manitowoc, Wisconsin), who passed away on March 22, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Schmitz and Viola Schmitz (Weyer); and her siblings, Howard Schmitz (Dorothy) and Kathryn Grosshuesch (Paul). She is survived by: her niece Barbara Erdman (Tom); her great-nephews, Daniel (Kristin) of Chicago, IL and Peter Erdman of Denver, CO; her niece Susan Grosshuesch of Kewaunee, WI; her nephew John Grosshuesch (Rhonda Rizzo) of Appleton, WI; and also, Valparaiso, Jon, Debbie Hochkammer, Rachel, Eric and Heidi.
