It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Schermetzler of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 1, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Schermetzler and Mary Schermetzler (Nikolai); his wife Jeanette Meyer; and his children, Donald Schermetzler, Jr., Steven Schermetzler, Thomas Schermetzler and Dorothy Pyles.
He is survived by: his children, John (Michele Schermetzler) of Manitowoc, David (Renae Schermetzler) of Manitowoc, Joe (Brenda Schermetzler) of Manitowoc, Ken Schermetzler of Manitowoc, Patrick Schermetzler of Manitowoc, Bill Schermetzler, Barbara (John Gagnon) and Cathy Schermetzler; his grandchildren, Jennifer Jo Pyles (Julie Kaczmarek), Carrie Lade (Greg), Ted Schermetzler (Amanda), Tony Schermetzler (Elliot Scher), Amanda Jo LeBombard (Tyler), Krista Johnson (Mickey), Tim Schermetzler (Kaitlin) of Bellingham, WA and Megan Gagnon; and his great grandchildren, Annika Taylor, Harrison Taylor, Lucas Schermetzler, Jacob Schermetzler, Jackson Schermetzler and Kaziah Johnson. He is also survived by Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
