She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Kluender and Emma Kluender (Gurgel); her husband Neil Smith; her parents-in-law, Malvern and Vera Smith; her siblings, Hazel Uhlich and Victor Kluender; her daughter Cindy Lou Smith; and her niece Kay Susan Uhlich.
She is survived by: her niece Mary Kay Uhlich; and her nephews, Kurt Uhlich and Terry Kluender.
