It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol C. Nelson of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Wiesner and Mabel Wiesner (Plautz); her husband Elroy Nelson; her grandson Ethan Nelson; her sisters, Marilyn Nelson and Betty Wiesner; her siblings-in-law, Alan Umnus, Violet and Robert Rue; and her niece Nancy Krueger.
She is survived by: her children, Carrie Grant (Henry) and Eric Nelson (Lana); her grandchildren, Alissa Grant, Alex Grant and Eli Nelson (Jennifer Slaby); and her siblings, Shirley Umnus and Gerald Wiesner (Pat). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
