It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Artemio Contreras of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesús Contreras-Ortiz and Salud Orozco-Ibarra; and also Nora Esmeralda Contreras. He is survived by: the mother of his children Heidi Contreras; his children, Alexa Contreras, Maya Contreras, Artemio J. Contreras and Norberto Contreras; and his siblings, Olga Contreras (Victorino), Humberto Contreras, Silvina Contreras, Lucila Álvarez Contreras (Constantino), Luis Garcia Contreras (Alicia), Francisco "Paco" Contreras and Onesimo Contreras (Enriqueta).
As an appreciation to the churches that provided unconditional love and support during Art's battle with cancer, any donations can be made in Art's name to Renew Church in Two Rivers or St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Manitowoc.
