He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Kempfert and Eleanore Kempfert (Westphal); his wife Gerlinde Weidenauer; his siblings, Frederik Kempfert and Lorraine Zeamer; and his son-in-law Keith Mumpy.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Andrew Mumpy (Janet) of Missouri City, TX and Michelle Mumpy (Mitchell Thies) of Blackhawk, CO; his great grandchildren, Hayley, Leila and Elise; his sister Velma Buth; and also Linda Mumpy. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID 19, Arnie's family requests that everyone wears masks and follows social distancing guidelines.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials to First German Ev. Lutheran Church.
