He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Czekala Sr. and Alice Czekala (Kadow); his siblings, Richard and Lois Bastianelli; and his sister-in-law Marjorie Czekala.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Liska of Mary's Catholic Church; his daughters, Julie A. Tittl (Tom) of Manitowoc, Dawn Berger (Steffen) of Manitowoc and Shari Czekala (Andy Kober) of Manitowoc; his granddaughter Vanessa Marie Berger; his brother Daniel "Zeke" Czekala (Gen); and his sisters-in-law, Cynthia Simino, Madison and Lora Liska. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
