With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Susan K. Koel of Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin, born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Susan left this world on November 22, 2024 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernie Pierce and Valeria Pierce; her sister Judith (Dan Patterson); her son-in-law Steve Violet; and her brother Dick Moravec (Paul Serbanic).
She is survived by: her daughters, Laura Violet, Lisa Lawrence, Julie Peterson (Rick) and Amy Karpenske (Joe); her grandchildren, Chris Merwin, Steve Violet (Monica Xiong), Jake Violet (Kelsey), Andrew Lawrence, Zach Robinette, Ben Robinette, Kyle Peterson (Beatriz), Caitlyn Peterson, Connor Karpenske and Ryan Karpenske; her great grandchildren, Aryana, Cora, Flynn, Callum, Sutton, Sheppard and Conley; her pet Chance; her former husband Tim Shanley; and her cousin Judy Claffey (Crosby). She is also survived by many sisters and brothers-in-law.
A reception will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Amery Community Center (608 Harriman Ave S, Amery, WI 54001).
