He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph William "Mike" and Marguerite Sanks (Saunders); his wife Leanne M. Parmeter; and his siblings, William Sanks, Virginia Habeck (Bill), Donna Litzow and Jack Sanks.
He is survived by: his children, Joe L. Sanks of Janesville, Lisa M. Schueler (Mark) of New Berlin and Sherry Nyborg (Gary) of Fort Wayne, IN. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Manitowish Waters Community Presbyterian Church (13883 Marathon Rd, Manitowish Waters, WI 54545). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
