He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Bonikowske and Thelma Bonikowske (Odegard); and his siblings, Joan, Dana and Holly.
He is survived by: his wife Joan (Johnson); his son Scott Bonikowske (Jodie); his grandchildren, Alexandria (Jesse), Aaron and Justin (Maddie); his child Tracy O'Brien (Dennis); his grandchildren, Ashley (Spencer), Austin (Ashley) and Alison; his son Paul Bonikowske (Jenny); his granddaughters, Megan and Rachel; and his sister Julie Cotton (Bill).
