She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Thompson and Nellie Thompson; her husband Ray Allen Young; her siblings, Mabel Stedman (Phil), Myrtle Ragland (Tom), Bill, John (Carol) and Walter Thompson; her nephew Neil Stedman; her niece Kathy Thompson; and her siblings-in-law, William Farrell and Joanne Thompson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Alvin Thompson (Boots), Joseph Thompson (Yvonne) and Rachel Farrell; her siblings-in-law, Betty, Avonne Thompson and David Young (Joyce); her daughters, Cynthia Vanden Heuvel (Mark), Julie Lannoye (Paul) and S. Laurie Young (Jim Wendt); her grandchildren, Becky Hagan (Tim), Alena Schuessler (Jeremy), Bobbi Blank (Brian), Erin LaPlante (Mark), Matt Vanden Heuvel (Darci), Tom Lannoye (Shawna) and Nick Traeger (Amanda); and her great grandchildren, Henry, Derek, Peighton, Rylee, Emmersen, Easton, Eli, Hudson, Adelyn, Carson, Jaxson, Nolan and Brycen.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the United Methodist Church (655 Depot St, Manawa, WI 54949). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
