He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Rohde and Minnie Rohde (Osterloth); his wife Nelda Jannusch; his daughter Ellen Benser (Larry); his sons-in-law, Robert Zeilke and Larry Benser; and his sister Eunice Rohde.

He is survived by: his children, Ronald (Dawn), Larry, David (Greg Zaletel), Nancy Smith (Lloyd) and Karen Rohde; his grandchildren, Tracy Zielke (Kathy), Todd Zielke (Shelia), Troy Zielke (Corrine), Tina Evans (Sam), Lisa Cook (Brian) and Mark Rohde (Nicole); his stepgrandson Dan Smith; his sister Germaine Neilsen; and his sister-in-law Carol Georgson (Maynard). He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19, private services will be held.
