He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rill and Loretta Rill (Sasada); his stepfather Herbert Handrich; his parents-in-law, George and Irene Meidam; his sister Janis McWey; and his brothers-in-law, Ken Meidam and Steve Jaeger.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his sons, Brian Rill (Samantha) and Michael Rill (Kara Ritchie); his grandchildren, Amanda Rill, Tyler Rill, Cassidy Rill (Jay), Madison Rill and Chance Rill; his stepgrandchildren, Joey Young and Desiree Moeller-Springborn; his great grandchild Ashland Suehs; his stepgreat-grandchild Annalise Taylor; his sisters, Joy Rill and Debra Passehl (Mark); and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Boutwell (Donald), George Meidam (Sue), Kris Rice (Dave), Helen Meidam and Karla Jaeger. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Manawa Booster Club or the Manawa Community Living Center.
