Ihla left this world on December 15, 2024 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Nelson and Mathilda Nelson Dain (Brandt); her husband James Peterson; her father-in-law Irvin (Clara Peterson); her son-in-law Mark Suehs; her siblings, Millie Malnory (Burton), Harry Nelson (Jeanette), Eppie Nelson, Emery Nelson (Betty), George Nelson (Dorothy) and Irene Schimke (Lloyd); her brother-in-law Donny Losselyoung; her granddaughter Tanna Hass; and her stepfather Carl Dain.
She is survived by: her children, Linda and Steve Bauer; her grandchildren, Matthew Bauer (Allison), Alissa Truel (Dan), Gena Gullixon (Ryan) and Jeremy Bauer (Katie); her children, Cheri and Randy Hass; her grandchildren, Jesse Hass (Julie) and Luke Hass (Tiffany); her son Rick Peterson (Kelly); her grandchildren, Dana Bogenschutz (Corey), Tony Peterson, Jana Rasmussen (Cole) and Austin Peterson (Olivia); her children, Lana and Duane Draeger; her grandchildren, Cara Johnson (Jeremiah), Briana Bosquez (Kyle) and Kali Draeger; her daughter Kay Suehs; her grandchildren, Nicki Seeger (Luke), Brandon Suehs and Shauna Zielke (Kris); her great grandchildren, Brock, Parker, Broghan, Jace Gullixon, Gavin Bauer, Megan, Avary Truel, Bracyn, Rohan, Iversynn Hass, Ty, Lydia, Myles Hass, Alex, Rhys Bogenschutz, Juna Rasmussen, Charlie, Lila Peterson, Rylee, Owyn Bosquez, Aubrie, Emrey Ihla, Brihla, Jovie Seeger, Christiana, Bennet Suehs, Brayden and Brystal Zielke; her stepgrandchildren, Camron, Dallas and Macin; and her sister-in-law Vivian Losselyong. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (157 N Bridge St, Manawa, WI 54949).
